i really like my Oster

it can do 2 sizes of loaves, many types of bread (different cooking times) and also has a dough-only mix cycle (to hand shape for oven). Its easy and easy to clean too. I make bread much more often with a breadmaker than before the br-maker!

i have an oster and love it!
Recently also started using it all the time instead of occasionally (same reason as you). Sometimes my bread is right up to the last hour before it rises to look right. (i'd like to hear the result today!) pkg'd yeast works fine. I am personally not too impressed with the King Arthur flour, though it is supposed to be great. I'd try to use bread flour for best result, or at least unbleached flour. You can find a box of gluten at the grocery that would be very helpful to add with regular flour. I find in many cases i also like a dough conditioner for a great texture (esp with wheat/whole grains. Found some great bread recipes at taste of home site/all recipes. (free sites) feel free to e/m me too. i'm no pro, but getting better and better results :)
