I wrote to a girl in Japan from about 12 to 14 years old, then 2 girls from England, and then in high school Italian class I wrote to a girl from Italy, who wrote fluently in English, for a little while. It was so much fun when those letters arrived in the mailbox wasn't it, like Christmas!
