Try a latte but ask for half a shot sm
a small drink usually is one shot, a medium larger is usually two shots - you can actually ask for decaf espresso also - there are so many things you can ask for - just tell them at your local shop what you told us here and see what they suggest. A latte is a shot of espresso topped with milk and then foam, a mocha is chocolate milk, so I would stick with latte for now - there are also frozen drinks at Starbucks with no coffee in them at all - but cannot think of the name right off the top of my head - good luck!!

You liked Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper? I thought it tasted like dirt. But I feel your pain, also, on losing something you love. Most people didn't like Straight Up latte, too, but I loved it.

hey I know you said below that you tried your own version. I was going to reply but was afraid that you wouldn't see it way down there. Anyway....I like my coffee with 8 tablespoons of light cool whip. Nothing else. It's very good that way and may be similar to your latte. Let me know if you try it!

Folgers has discontinued its Cafe Latte line.
I LOVE Straight Up latte. I don't like anything else. I am so disappointed. I don't know how I am going to get through 2nd shift without a latte (or two). Every time I really like something it is discontinued, just like the Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboard.
