Told teenage son no driver's license if he did not get good grades because the insurance is too high without the good student discount.  We signed a contract stating that he completely understood this.

Fast forward to 5 days until school is out and he is not going to make the grade. 

Now, instead of peace at my house I feel like I am arguing with a 4-year-old to stay in the time out chair, and he feels that he is being unfairly punished.

I explained that it was not random.  The insurance company set the GPA for the discount.

I was really hoping for a laid back summer, but I can already tell, time to put up the barf shield.

Anybody else have a kid that likes to "wear down" their parents?
