Smells
I have had milk spill down the backside of the refrigerator and turn sour and smell terrible.  It went behind the produce drawers and even though I cleaned everythign out time and time again it smelled for a long time.   Finally found out it went down to the drip pan underneath the refigerator but that was an older refrigerator.   Also if the freeze on is leaking from the freezer it also smells especially when the refigerator is running.   Smells can get into the rubber on a refrigerator and sometimes never get out.  Go to Heloise page on the web and see if she has any answers.
Refrigerator smells - please help!

I purchased a nice but used refrigerator.  Now that it is installed and cooling, it has a terrible odor inside.

I have cleaned and cleaned.  How in the world can I get this smell out?!  I just can't take it.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Talking about smells, I also like
in addition to the bleach smell, gasoline (I would pump gas for a living if I could make a living at that) ,damp basements or cellars, cut grass but nothing like that good gas. Oh, don’t flame folks, I know not to stand there and sniff until I pass out!
...Sure smells like something is very wrong here! NM

For outside, Lantana smells great and is
easy care. Doesn't take a lot of water and it fills a space nicely. Blooms like crazy. If you plant it near your front door you'll smell it every time. Another fun one is daphne. I have winter daphne, but there are other daphne bushes with more fragrance. I'm finding it very easy. Plumbago bush is easy also. Not absolutely sure it's fragrant, but great flowers. I have so much fragrance in my front yard right now I don't know where it's coming from.
i think febreze smells horrible -nm

...and "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific"...that was my
favorite shampoo - it really did smell "terrific."  In fact, I found it in one of those catalogs recently and ordered it - unfortunately, it had no scent whatsoever - just wasn't the real thing...I was hoping to be able to go back in time, but I guess it's true that you really can't go home.
Oooh, boy! You got me!
Looong, long day. Good thing you're on your toes!
I'm taking mine to beddy-bye!

PS I hate that this forum doesn't have a preview function.
Oooh, let him go...
I let my 16 YO son go to Mexico on a mission trip with our church.  He still talks about it to this day, and he's 20! It will be awesome, I am sure...good luck and God bless!
Oooh, this is soo bad
I'm awful when it comes to snacking. My absolute favorite that I always vow never to do again is homemade trail mix - M&M's, walnuts, golden raisins, mix in anyother goodies you like.
oooh I can relate

I have about a 11 yo Shih Tzu, he is a grumpy old man.  He has quite a variety of noises - groans, little whines, shrill barks, etc.  Very expressive.  Now I am working at home again (past 2 months) after 6 years out and he is so happy to sit by side of my desk.  But I am in the basement and he has a hard time with stairs (short little legs) so he whines at the top of the stairs, until someone is "watching him" before he begins to go down.

Oooh yeah- I need that one too
The 80's edition. I didn't know they had it. I just moved up to medium level. That blue key is KILLIN' me! My hand and arm are so sore. It's embarrasing. I just tell people it's from "working out" HAHA~
Oooh, my mom made that too!
Thanks for the memory, I'll probably make some soon!
oooh, I miss the 70's

If only we could vacation there via a time machine...LOL.

Oooh! One more and then I'll try to quit

I used to work in a convenience store about 20 years ago and one time this guy walked in.  He was a -regular-.  Anyway, he walked right inside the door, looked down at his muddy boots and proceeded to knock the dried mud off right there in front of the cash register.  It flew everywhere.  Clumps all over the place.  And then he just kept walking.  I always wondered if he did that at home, too.

People can be so oblivious!

OOOH, I didn't see the previews...sm

So you may be right...of course, it'll happen at the end, then we'll have to wait til Monday to see what happens...(my guilty pleasure...soaps!)

Oooh, I am SO glad someone brought this up. I was sm
watching this for the first time in years last Friday. I had a break and there was nothing on t.v. The last time I saw it, Nick and Sharon were married. I think I saw it around the time Cassie died??

Anyways, is Nick married to Phyllis now?

When he woke up Fri. Sharon had to break some terrible news to him - what was the news? I missed it! Thanks......

Oooh. Didn't think of the steam.
But I will check the website.  Thanks for the suggestion.  Just want to cover up the lovely 1970s crappola that I have been looking at since we moved in.
Oooh that is a great suggestion!

He even has his green and red on for the card - the collar and tag!  What a cutie pie!

oooh, I think I like my coffee stronger
You must have posted while I was writing my message. I think its funny the strength in the different coffees. I uses a scoop (equal to 2 TBS) to every cup. I'm now reading your post and mine sounds like I would be drinking mud, but it's not really that strong and we like it.

I should try your idea with cleaning the pot though. We've had our pot for about 2 years and never cleaned it yet. Think it's overdue
Oooh, you must be that poor homely person

OOoh, I have the strangest urge to DISS YOU!! Hah - just kidding. nm

Good Fences make good neighbors
You can get premade cedar fencing that comes in sections. You dig a post hole at the appropriate distance and fill with a bag of quick-crete. Alternatively, you could buy a used fence from a place that hauls away.

You could also get an electric fence, just hook to a battery and run the cord (for retraining purposes) it would not hurt your dogs.

I feel your pain. Roll up your sleeves and pray for some digging weather!
Hey hon, you can have one. There are tons of good ones out there looking for a good woman. They ain&
doorstep. Seek and you shall find. So, if you 'really' wanted one, me thinks you would have one...
All good points, good post. (nm)

Good for you! Keep up the good work!

Here's a good one.....
She is sexually inactive since being widowed by choice.
Good for you!
:-)
Good for you

Sounds like she has a good home.  It just may take her time and I am sure professional help will help.   We need to learn not to let them train us.  I have two cats and my dog and I am sure I spoil them according to most people but right now they are my family.   I am sure Tasha will not be around much longer and don't think I will replace her for a while.  Would be nice to be able to come and go for a while and not worry about someone taking care of the dog.  Also it is a little more work training a puppy down here on the water in a floating home.   So it will be me and my cats for a while.   I am also not sure I have the energy for a puppy.  But it sounds like you have sure provided a good home for Miss Lilly.

Patti

good for you--sm
Puppies have a way of healing our hearts! We won't forget, but they fill that empty gap..for the other remaining pets, as well. They get lonesome too after having had a companion for a period of time. Just give them time to become friends. I am happy for you!
as an IC you need to get a GOOD CPA....

I truly do not think you can do this yourself, unless you are so business-books acclimated and always on top of things.....

I've been an IC for 10 years and an MT for nearly 30, and as an IC I always get my things CPA-ready for the CPA (receipts/bills/statements, and I write everything down once I get the receipts/bills in good order in the late winter/early spring, by March, and so I go to him with all the categories and the figures and not the receipts/other garbage).  You get a percentage off for your office, your electric, et cetera.  The CPA's know all the in's and out's of this and are quite helpful and worth every dime, in my mind.  I used to pay quarterly taxes (about $500-750) but now I choose to pay yearly, one lump payment by April 15th and I'm all very legal!!

 Best of luck!

It looks good!
And shouldn't that be rheumatiz? :-)
Good for you and your Dr..sm
That is great to hear.  Our GYN office was out of the vaccine at the time of our visit, so they must either pushing it hard, or getting a lot of requests for it. I had seriously considered having my daughter get the vaccine, but after I have had a chance to think about it, I'm having second thoughts.  I don't want this generation of teenage girls to be guinea pigs for something that may have harmful effects later on.  And the government making it mandatory?  Let's hope not.
some good, some bad
but don't you want your kids to have a better and easier life?
That's a good one!
!!!!!!
not good
according to about-to-graduate as vet daughter. As certain nutrients that the one animal NEEDS, is not in the other's food. I can't remember all of what she said, but know it can lead to deficiencies.
Good for you!
Glad to hear things went so well, and I'm sure your mind will rest easier now too.
LOL! Good one... : )

Good for you.....
So excited to read that.  I would swear that is the best "diet" so to speak.  Great news - keep up the good work!
Good for you
I find it very hard to believe that it happened to you and you can be so flippant about it.

Mine happened more than 25 years ago. I was 14 years old. When I told, I was branded, I was a liar, I was asking for it, etc...

How is it that a grown man can beat the living daylights out of a young girl, rape her, cut her legs with broken glass, and then act like nothing happened. How can an entire community act like nothing happened?

I still have nightmares. I can sometimes even still smell that cheap cologne he wore. I want to vomit every time I get a little whiff of it.

The next 3 weeks were the longest of my life, wondering if that monster got me pregnant. I absolutely would have aborted if he had. Either that or I absolutely would have killed myself.

I would love to give you my nightmares since you seem to be so strong. I would gladly give them up.
