regarding the IRA, look at it this way

when you take money out these days you are actually saving money because it is not there to lose. We took a loan out on ours of $3000 a few months ago and it has saved us $12,000. I know that sounds nuts and I thought I was reading the statement wrong, but when I called, YES - Taking out that $3,000 saved us $12,000. Who can figure it out? Btw, my DH (it is his IRA) is over 60. Relax, try to have at least 1 glass of wine every day, and take heart that we are all in the same boat. Pray that your sense of humor is regained.
