I am pretty sure that she got on Medicare and it will cover every thing (not 100% sure though). What is funny is that I know exactly what they will say, that the "rehab facility" is a nursing home and that they won't let their mom go to a nursing home. BUT YET, no one is willing to take off work to take care of her. It is just a bunch of crap. I am going to check out the rehab facilities myself and give them this information. Thanks for your reply and support :) We actually let her live with us for about 5 months about this same time last year. We were having a hard time finding her an apt. because of her income (she gets only social security) and every where we took her, it was "an old-folks home" (what she called it). They were senior living apts (55 and older). I hardly called these nice apartments old folks homes.
