I think the whole thing is just staged.
Her voice is good, but she would rather fit into a church choir, so angelic.
Do you watch 'American Idol?'
Matt and Alllison are really outstanding and they have to struggle to stay in the competition. 
And Annoup had to leave. 
Honestly, I doubt that Susan could compete with them.

Susan was a "find" sm
She surprised everyone plus herself. She could not compete with the phony witches on "Housewives of...." whatever, and of course and Oprah and Gail and the rest on their Friday talk show actually said she needed a "makeover" and started with the waxing, hair, etc., and they were disgusting in my view. Everyone deserves a break in this world and it made me cry to see someone bowl over prissy people like Simon and Peers - it's almost like saying your mom or your aunt doesn't deserve a break because they're "over the hill" or "frumpy" and I say good for her! You go, girl! Someone always likes to step on the underdog, human nature, I guess. I hope Susan doesn't get hurt, she was "discovered" and they are hounding her. She didn't ask for all this attention. Appreciate her! 
Whoopie is friends with Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon
I think they are all decent actors, in some cases (Susan Sarandon) excellent actors, but they should stick to acting, not politics.
