Do NOT give them any more money! My neighbor is like that with us. My husband and I work hard and try to pay our bills, but they are spendthrifts. They never have money for anything, but they are always going to movies, out to eat, etc. We paid their telephone bill for them last month! They let it slip about something they want to order off the TV ($250 frying pan?). Some people are not good managers of their money, and while you think you are helping them out you are really hurting them in the long run. Tough love with the bucks, I say. If you want to offer to buy food, etc. like that then that is fine, but no more cash!
