FIRST - your husband is very thoughtful!!  WOW. 

When you go, don't be afraid to tell them that it is your first massage.  The whole point is for you to relax and be comfortable.  If you want to keep all your clothes on, then do it.  If you want just the bare essentials, then do that.  But know that they are discreet.  They drape you appropriately and only expose the sections that are being worked on.  Sort of like a gyn appointment but with a better ending .

Do ask about the different types of massage.  Deep tissue is different from Swedish and different from sports massage.  Let them know if you have deep areas of discomfort that you want worked on, or if you would rather just be pampered.

I think you will love the paraffin hand treatment.  If you have a chance to get one with a pedicure, do that too.
