In Reply to: Subcontracting versus IC - Weighing options

ive done it both ... IC for 8 years with all my accounts for myself, and worked as an employee for a hospital, AND did subcontracting work. It goes like this: the most money is in IC - but that's where the headaches and pressure are, as well. As a subc - you get half the pay you would as an IC - and half the hassles and headaches. As an employee? now that's the way to go (if you can find the work, at a fair salary). Minimal headaches, plus all the benefits, and a guaranteed paycheck.
Which appeals to you most? You gotta decide - or try them all like I did!
