A lot of TASPs

do not allow you much control. I didn't find this out until I tried it myself. I have to wait for them to add a new account, make changes to accounts, wait up to 8-24 hours for tech support, etc. I can't delete audio files from my end (redictations, nondictations) which adds more work for the doctor on their end. The one I used had you attach the transcribed document to the audio file. Sounded neat at first, but when you get a doc that accidentally dictates 5 reports on one audio file and they all use different templates that you in turn have to combine into one document, it's a major nightmare. Finally, after getting my own doctors set up, I was advised by my attorney that I do not want to have anything to do with storing files, even (or pehaps especially so) through a third-party storage facility. Oops.

Not worth it in my opinion, but mydocsonline sounds interesting, and Vance Digital is introducing a P2P-type system that might be interesting too.

TASPs
I use Medikin. They are okay...sometimes servers go down. Last week phone lines were down. However, they are the least expensive of the TASPs that I have seen. I only pay a per line charge instead of per line plus phone charges. My 2 cents worth.
Need info on the following TASPs (sm)

I am looking into transitioning to digital for my clients and am in need of some feedback on the TASPs that I am looking into.  Any experience good or bad, please reply.  Also, are they reliable and cost effective.  thanks for your help.

TASPs I'm considering are:

My Docs Online, Emdat, iDigital or GearFTP, MetroScript, Spantel.

If you know of others that are good to work with please share your experience.
