All of a sudden you have these

or sick time.  Do you then hire a subcontractor?  You become the national.  That's not an original idea.  There are many, many MTs out there with their own accounts who never get a vacation because they don't want to get backed up.  If they then hire a subcontractor, they become basically an MTSO outsourcing their own work to a subcontractor who must take a cut rate, and the wheels keep spinning.

I see a lot of posts where people want health insurance, PTO time, and sick leave.  If the client provides these things, they most likely will not pay much hourly, so then you will not make as much money as you might think.  This is the perfect example of a catch 22.  Can't live with them and can't live without them.

But I have been, all of a sudden, getting sm
calls all day from a certain number, which I looked up on the Internet.  They are trying to send a fax.  Lots of information on them at that number.  One guy had his fax turned on, and it was the same kind of scam.  Apparently they have now gone to random computer dialing to send faxes for this stuff.  Does anyone ever fall for this?  I guess they must, or they would give up.

LinK, I feel you. I was transcribing & had my little TV on tuned to FoxNews when all of a sudden
I heard the news of a plane hitting the WTC. What an ominous, overbearing feeling that washed over me.  I watched 9/11 last night. Odd how it started out being a documentary about a probie firefighter and ended up being a filmed account of 9/11.  All those feelings came flooding right back and still felt so raw. I can't imagine how family members must feel who lost loved ones who were in the WTC on that tragic day.  May God comfort those left behind.
