Ask away, it is unlikely they will voluntarily - sm

give you one. I have always had to ask for one, with the exception of my last raise which they gave me w/o my asking, though it was less than I would have asked for (.005 vs. .01). I work for a small MTSO (i.e. ~20 MTs). I plan on going for a .01 the next time (in Jan.07) and I am pretty sure I will get it too. I always wait a year (or longer) in between raise requests. So if I were you I'd go for at least .01 or more if you make less than .07 now.

fired/voluntarily quitting
Rule of thumb is if you are fired unemployment isn't as difficult to obtain. If you voluntarily leave a job, pray . . . harder to get it.
I would never voluntarily give them "my" normals, my work product. SM
The nerve of these people.
