I am considering bankruptcy but know that there is quite a stigma that goes with this.  I am IC status right now.  Have any of you ever been turned down for a MT job because of a bankruptcy.  I have heard from many people that is a question that employers often ask but just wondering how other MTs have faired after bankrupcy??  Is find an employee status job harder?

      • I can't do bankruptcy as I own some property with people (my only asset) and I don't - sm - Me too.
  • About 10 years ago. No problems. - done it once
  • We declared years ago and I did not have any problems - finding employment since.
  • Unless you work in a bank or at a cash register, - Ch13
  • Do they think you will hold reports for - ransom?

  • I can't ever remember a question of bankruptcy on an employment application. They usually just as - about arrests and crime. nm

  • Apply, hon. I have not personally ever heard of that - and if you are, who needs that job?
