that you can actually use PC ShortHand as your expander? I just started working in EMDAT this past week and that is definitely a real plus because I have a zillion entries in there and I knew the EMDAT built-in Expander (???) is not that useful. Yes, in regard to your typing in Word and copying and pasting into EMDAT. I had been told about that, but have been leery to do it because I am not used to the platform and don't want to lose anything. Maybe when I become more accustomed to it, I will do that also.
