When I'm working at home I always have some racket going on, be it the TV or the radio. Maybe it depends on the city where you are, but when I used to go to my favorite Starbucks in the Bay Area, during the hours I was working there were not that many people milling through. Enough to make it an interesting change of pace but not enough to really infringe on my 'zone'.
