Exactly

I always wanted to be a stay at home mom, but at the same time I wanted my own career.  Even though this may be boring at times, I am sure a lot of jobs get boring too after so many years of doing them.

My mom is still like that too.  She works in a big hospital in the adminsitrative dept. and always brags about her job and degrades the MT field because she thinks that they are no longer going to be needed in a few years.  She said they have a system that automatically types their reports.  I have no idea how that can be, because ESL doctors are hard to understand and there is no way a machine can understand and edit what they are saying to be correct.

All I have to say to that is that after her 20 years in the field, she makes the same amount of money as me on a good day. HA!
