Check out entirelypets.com. They are cheaper than
petmeds.  You don't have to have a prescription for flea treatments, but you do for heartworm.  Not sure about Sentinel since it is for both.   I have bought from them 3 times with great surface and they send me an e-mail coupon each month.   My dog is on lets of medications.  On one med alone I save $50.00/mo over what my vet was charging and it is $13.00 cheaper than what Petmeds sells it for.
Can Frontline for dogs be used on cats?

Am short on cash right now and my two cats are needing treatment.  Don't want to make them sick and figure that is why cats cannot use dog flea remedies.  Wanted to see if anyone had ever done this.  I don't want to take any chances with Charles and Cali <meow>

Thanks !!!

Agree with Romey. I use dog Frontline - split one tube between my 4 cats.

I just went to fuzzytummy and entirelypets is
much better.  Fuzzytummy doesn't carry anything nonprescription and they carry only limited flea medications.   I believe Sentinel is probably prescription, as all the heartworm meds are.  If you go to entirelypets or petmeds it will tell you if you need a prescription.  You can get it from your vet and send it or they will call your vet, but will not ship meds without a prescription.
check out entirelypets.com. On the products I use
they are significantly cheaper than petrx.  If your order is a certain amount ($100 I think and mine always are) you get free shipping.  They also send me e-coupons every month $3.00 off $45/order, $5 off $100 something+ order, etc.  They also have sales.  Their selection of products is excellent.  You may have to type in a product in the search box as you may not find what you are looking for in their menu, but they have had every med my dog/cats are one and they are multiple.  They also have things like sprays and shampoos that my vet doesn't carry, that I have found to work better than what my vet carries.  They also have homeopathic products.  I have ordered 3 times without problem, ships the next day via priority mail.   I have yet to order a product that I need a prescription for.  One prescription med my dog is on is not available from my vet and I have to get at the local pharmacy and they are about 25 cents higher at entirelypets than the drug store.  They also sell them by the pill so you have to be careful and read the fine print.  The pills are $6.00 and I thought the first time it was $6.00/bottle that I paid $180 for at the pharmacy - LOL.
frontline
I use my little dog's frontline on my cats. Just make sure you take into consideration the size difference. My dog is 18 pounds, so I would split one of his tubes between 2 of my cats.
frontline

I know this is an old message, but if someone else drops in here to get advice:

I'm a chemist and I have an incredibly good vet and both of us have done our research.   My veterinarian actually sells me Frontline PLUS for large dogs.  It was their idea as cost effective since I have four cats. The Vet recommended the following dosage:  1/2 cc (mL) per cat, unless the cat is huge.

My Maine Coon (13+ lbs) gets 1 whole CC.

We have been doing this for years with absolutely no ill effects.  Two of my cats suffer from flea allergies and I start buying this stuff in March and keep it on them till November.

The difference is that Frontline has the exact same ingredients whether it is for Cats or for Dogs.  OTHER FLEA TREATMENTS do not.  Advantix is a great example, containing a compound that is extremely poisonous to cats (causes seizures and can lead to death).

URGENT: I called Frontline myself and they said NO, sm

they do not recommend using the dog formula on cats.  You have to use the cat formula.  In other words, they take no responsibility for off-label use as they call it.  Not using the product as directed.  Sorry to be a budinsky, but this is scary stuff.

I thought we were talking about Frontline here. NM

Did anyone watch Frontline last night? I will NEVER shop in Wal-Mart again.
Cheap prices will not mean a thing if the middle class U.S. population is out of work.  I'd rather see my neighbors with a job and pay Target prices
My cat veterinarian authorized us to use cat Frontline on our 5-pound tiny toy poodle
She said it goes by size and he's the size of a small cat.
Great post. I swear by both Advantage and Frontline Plus-- both work great! - sm
I don't know about "natural" approaches for the house. I have always used flea bombs in the past before the miracle of Advantage and Frontline changed my life. Have not had a flea problem at all since I began using those products about 10 years ago, dose all the dogs religiously once a month with the Frontline Plus except in Dec.-Feb. to save a few bucks and because the ground is generally frozen by then and no fleas are scurring about. -- Hope you get flea free soon.
Cheaper here only $9
http://dictationstore.com/search.php?mode=search
it was one of the cheaper ones :)
got it at Wal-Mart for about $50, I think.
If you get the cheaper ones (under $20) the
wiring has a tendency to break so that you only get sound from one side.  To test this you can jiggle around the wiring on the bad side and you can usually get sound.  I usually have to pull the wiring up like I'm going to lay it across my head towards the other side.   I've been through 3 pairs of earphones for this reason.   I've tried many styles/brands and these are what I like best and $20 once a year or so isn't bad.
Cheaper for you to pay to have sm

internet service at their house.  If you pay, will they do it?

Winzip is cheaper and it also (sm)
compresses the files. You will be grateful for the compression when you are sitting in a campground on dial-up access!
Then you must have look for cheaper transcritionist
Have guts to pay more and look for talent, because you can not get away with competition by just give sarcastic remarks!!! So mind it before saying anything.

You should learn from competition....because that is the healthy way to do business.
The other will be cheaper but no quality
x
Wow, would be cheaper in the long run to get your

Buy a 2-way & don't use the return-it's cheaper
NM
Cheaper to buy transcriber?
If he is doing tapes it might be cheaper to go on E-Bay and buy a transcriber than everything that is needed to transfer over to digitial files as well as the time it will take.   If he does micro tapes you can pick up an Olympus Pearlcorder for under $75 on E-Bay and I have always had good luck.
No rent that I know of, but cheaper to buy used on e-bay. nm

A lot cheaper to do it yourself and not hard at all- sm
print out the manual on your computer on installing/removing memory. It is so simple and takes less than 5 minutes to do. I have done it many times. Memory is relatively cheap these days and probably shouldn't cost more than $100 (shop around on-line); so $40 for 5 minutes of work by the computer geek is not a bad racket.
Easier (cheaper) for HIM! OMG,
that would slow me down so much...trying to leave out those little words. Tell him if he really wants those words left out to white them out after he gets the report. Hah!
I dont see how it is cheaper to do it that way (SM)
when they are paying them 3 to 4 cents a line, then it getting stalled in QA and paying them 3 to 4 cents a line. If they would just keep it here and pay us the 6 to 8 cents a line or heaven forbid a bit more, and have it done right in the first place, TAT would be met.
I just found it cheaper

Yep, sometimes an entire dollar cheaper...

FlashType works just the same and is quite a bit cheaper.
see link below
"they" are MTs, MTSOs, and the AMA. If you can do better for cheaper..go for it..let us know w

Have you tried Ortho-Novum? It is usually a lot cheaper. SM
When I tried Yasmin, it was going to be about $30/month on my insurance but I switched to Ortho-Novum, which is what I had used years ago for a long time anyway, and it is only $10/month. I know - it is ridiculous the way drug prices are.
I have found petrx.com to be cheaper

than 1-800-pet-meds.  1-800 includes shipping and petrx.com does not, but the total is still cheaper than 1-800 after adding shipping costs.  I have used petrx.com for several years now with no problems.

they went after her work because they could get it CHEAPER wholesale
sheesh, can we stop with the gushing!
It's not any cheaper after paying for membership.
``
The majority of them will be cheaper than Cobra.
Go through your local yellow pages and look for insurance companies who advertise health insurance and start calling.  Call several so you can compare rates.  Your weight issues are going to make your premium higher than it would if you were a normal weight.
I wonder how much it costs? will it be cheaper in the long run?nm
.
They're cheaper. There's no denying
an experienced QA is better than an inexperienced QA. Experienced QAs have the ability to adapt to many different accounts & client specs very quickly. It's part of the job. Therefore, that point is moot. You seem to be one of those MTSOs who likes your cheap QA labor & are trying to justify it, so I will leave it at that.
cats
There are vaccinations for feline leukemia and rabies. A responsible cat owner keeps their pet updated on these shots.
Cats going outside.
I think everyone is entitled to their stance on this issue, it is a hard call to make, whether indoor/outdoor or always indoor, and I believe it is up to each individual to make that choice. I make the choice to have indoor/outdoor cats as I think that mine are most happy that way. There are ways that you can get your cats outdoors that are safe, many fencing systems that with some trial and error work. I know a lady who made wire tunnels that ran the perimeter of her yard that ended up in the woods attached to another enclosure she hade a handy man make for her, she said it was very inexpensive to make and it was really neat. I saw pictures of it. I plan to do something similar when I own property. Whatever you decide, do what you think is best for you, and let others do what they think is best for them. I have lost 1 cat to outside predators and it was wrenching, could not get out of bed for a week, but I still continue to let mine out to this day because that is what I feel makes them the happiest. I say lets choose to disagree or agree on this subject. All for the animals!!!
Cats/Dog
Cats: Leroy Brown, baddest cat in the whole darn town (full name), also Teddy. Pug, Willie, and Chiauwawa Amigo...Turtle Timmy, found out really Timithia, and 7 year old 12 inch long gold fish named Goldie (what else)...this as fun...
cats
Cats will go off and die alone, my vet told me that. Also, in regard to keeping a cat indoors vs letting it out, we have coyotes and rabies in our states and they advised everyone to keep their cats indoors, even our indoor cats have to get rabies shots. I have a siamese who I let out with me in the garden but bring her in with me and she is never out at night. I got her from the ASPCA, and it took her a while to get used to being indoor cat, but my vet told me he has too many cats who suffer from fights, death by coyote or rabid bites.
Two Cats
Roscoe - 10
Raquel - 15

Well, as follows (all cats)...

The Four Bumpas Brothers (so called because they love each other so much and are alway bumping heads together) who are Big, Baby Dogfood, Baby and Smokey Bumpas. Mr. Atticus Pinkas, because when we got him he lived in the attic for weeks and always comes down with pink insulation on him. Mr. French (he just looks like he would be French with his moustache). Dead-eye Lil, who obviously has one bad eye, her babies Paper and Plastic (they were born last week in a brown paper grocery sack) Sherbie, who is an orange barn cat. Old Dogfood, who came with the place we bought 10 years ago and is also a barn cat. All of these are outside cats, except Mr. Pinkas, who fears the outside world! The others were all drop offs and strays. Living in the country we get a lot of these!

Or maybe with the new pay plan and ASR rates we will be cheaper than offshoring.
:
Yeah, but think about it - it was much cheaper than buying thousand of MTs...
MQ DOES IT AGAIN! ND everyone fell for it once again ; )
FlashType works just like ShortHand except is cheaper.

Thanks for telling us. I bought the cheaper one and had bad results.

It's cheaper to hire a national than pay employees
nm
It is cheaper for members. Only one test but 2 parts.

Funny though. They get along with cats.

Depending on the cat of course. Had a neighbor who had kittens that would play with the baby skunks and the momma skunk would just sit and watch.

I delivered newspapers for 4 years and never got sprayed.  Just stand still and they go away.  They're basically nonagressive unless they feel threatened.

I have an albino cat that was meowing in the garage one night and I opened the door a crack and they were nose to nose, like they were talking to each other.  Weird.  Actually my cat was probably saying, "Hey buddy, thanks for opening that garbage bag, they had KFC last night."
