Do any other MTs out there have an extremely slow metabolism - I seem to do nothing but want to sit in front of the TV or take a nap after transcribing or 8 hours - any suggestions on a good herbal supplement?

Not necessarily...metabolism slowing...
as we get older is a much more likely culprit.  At 50, our metabolism is on average 50% lower than at age 16.  That is why when we are young we can lose weight easily and rapidly, but as we age it's a tremendous struggle.  Exercise is the key, as it not only burns calories but revs up the metabolism for hours following.
You need to find a way to slow metabolism
way down so you can survive on minimal calories a day, and you do that by eating very little. My friend does very well on 600 calories a day, does not gain or lose weight.
mygawd!! it's my metabolism? I just thought I was exhausted...nm
