kitchen, my office and the front room.  Everyone else takes care of the rest.  My husband spends most of his time in the back room with his dog, so that's his job. His pool room in the basement is his job because he wanted the pool table.  My kids take care of their rooms. It's their garbage, not mine. If I don't like how it looks, I close the door.  When they get sick of it and can't move anymore, they clean it.  My 19-year-old has his computer in the alcove, that's his responsibility.  His friend spends time here at night in the spare bedroom.  That's the 19-year-old's responsibility because it is his friend. When my 28-year-old comes over, should he decide to say anything, he gets to do the work. My 21-year-old has his room downstairs.  I don't touch it.  He usually gets his girlfriend to clean it.  Whoever leaves the table last clears it and wipes it off. I do the laundry because I don't like it piled up.  If they don't have it in the hamper, they do their own. Everyone here knows how to use the washer, dryer, dishwasher, mop buckets and dust rags. Sometimes I blow up and then everything gets done in zero time.  Most of the time, I try not to stress out over it. I figure if people don't like how it looks, they don't have to come over. Not that my house is a pigpen, because it isn't.  It just doesn't look like Martha Stewart's.
