for the chair that I sit in when I am working, I put a pillow...the square kind that people put on couches, etc., just measure the width of the back of your chair, then put it behind your back...that pushes you forward enough to be able to have your knees clear. When I worked on-site I always put my foot pedal on a foot stool and then my feet touched bottom too.

For clothes, if you buy petites...even though most of them are too long...at least that beats wearing clothes that hit the ground and also are cut much shorter than average sizes. I am small boned too. I now weigh about 104 but I used to weigh only about 85 pounds and could actually fit into a lot of pre-teen clothes that were solid colors, etc.

You just got to learn to live in a world that was definitely not made for smallness!
