Here is what I think...

My experience with a previous employer was that the supervisors who did that had no clue about the account specifics or even the transcription system. If they contacted the offending person directly they might actually have to answer a question and display their total ignorance. Some of them used to copy and paste from e-mails that they received from IT, QA, the customer or whoever, into an e-mail that they would then send to the MTs so it would look like they had written it rather than forwarded it. Sad but true, it happened to me many times. I can laugh about it now--I no longer work for that service.
