How does one know

if they are just not cut out for this line of work or if it is just their situation?

I am a year and some into MTing. Getting better but still struggling A LOT and not making enough to live on.

Some shifts I do really well and others not. There are so many variables; how can I tell it if is me or just the work I am getting?

My line count can vary 70 lph up or down on different days (and at my level, that makes a big difference). From what I can tell, it depends on the dictators, the content (sometimes have to look up a lot more), and if I can use a lot of normals (again, a dictator factor). But, how do I tell what is "normal" for the work I am getting?

It's all so darned ambiguous!

Clarification of any kind will be greatly appreciated! :)
