I get in this rut? By putting all my eggs in one basket, back in the days when MT was a relatively well-paid middle-class job, and not cheap sweatshop labor. I like to type, and am good at transcription, but if I didn't need to work to keep a roof over my head (which MT just BARELY does, here in the 21st Century), I'd quit in a heartbeat and spend all my time playing. I suppose I could help Humanity in that way, by not barking at them all the time!
