buy your own equipment?  That would be totally ridiculous if you are a regular hospital employee.  I am also a regular hospital employee working at home.  They provide everything from equipment to reference books to paying for my monthly internet bill.  However, I am also paid by the hour plus a line incentive.  Sounds like they're paying you on production only, which I'm not sure they can really do if you are truly an employee.  They don't pay nurses based on how many IVs they start or how many dressings they change, so why should they pay an MT based on production only?  I personally wouldn't purchase anything like that to be able to work at home as an employee.
