My accountant, who has been my accountant for years, told me 15% would be enough to save back from my TOTAL income. The taxes will be taken out of what is left after deduction of all business expenses, and I have quite a few of them. I have not made too much so far either. Also, my husband has always has counted 0 exemptions, so more is took out of his check because I worked in another state. We will keep that up, and that will help on our personal income taxes.
