I can attest to everything you say sm

If I honestly looked at actual "I am at the keyboard typing" time, I work 30 to 35 hours a week and yes, I have 2 jobs for several reasons that are beside the point. I am terrible break taker, quite chronic in fact. I am also a whiz with MT. I take breaks to stay whizzing, or so it seems to me. This year I will make $40K working for a national at 8.5 base rate and yes, I get incentives and I have only once fallen at 9 cpl with those incentives, often more.

I tried to quit smoking not too long ago and I sat tighter (I smoke outside only). I was doing 1600 lines in 7 hours every day I was not smoking. Of course, I was a wreck of nervous energy!

The long and the short is, I could make more money if I didn't take so many breaks. My income has gone up every year for the past 5 by about $4000 a year, but my line rates have not moved an inch in that time. I have gotten much better skill wise.

I also rarely post here. This is like the 3rd time for the entire month of December! I am usually working.
