good jobs out there.  I make 52K a year as a Transcriptionist working 30 hours a week, which is rare for most MTs.  The point is that there are too many variables to publish averages without further information.  How many hours do these people work?  How many accounts do they transcribe?  What percentage of ESL?  What percentage of VR?  Do they have incentives, and what are those incentives?  Does their employer pay downtime?  And the biggest questions:  Have they ever received a raise and do they always have work during their scheduled hours?  I just feel it is irresponsible to publish this information and give people hope that they can become an MT and make this kind of money.  Honestly, it just is not reality for many MTs.
