In 1989, a woman was working for a Long Island Hospital in the Medical Records Department doing MT full time. She was grossing $425 a week. Figure, that was $11.33/hour for a 37-1/2 hour week. And back then, it was straight pay for hours worked. You didn't get additional money for lines over quota.
