I stopped being a member immediately after the whole India deal and will not be going back to them for anything.  It isn't worth it.

I don't get to transcribe verbatim for most of my docs.  BUT most of them are ESLs and they want it corrected to make sense with proper English. I do se the BOS but only for things they haven't laid out...not because AAMT is great, but it is the only guide that we have to follow.  A lot of their things do not make sense at all, but unfortunately that is all there is.

People are starting to express their dissatisfaction with outsourcing to India with companies they buy products from.  I have heard people complaining many times over about the CSRs especially.

Gateway recently announced they do not outsource their CSR, and that if you call them, you will get an American on the phone.  Hats off to them!!  I am even happier I bought one.  More companies should take a stand, especially MT companies.  India does not have the privacy laws to protect the patients.  I don't know about china, but I can't see it ever being a good idea to send private info across the world where you won't have any control in what happens to it.
