But it seems that they ALL have to give you grief sooner or later. Sometimes they're horrible at 14 and by 17 you're back to smooth. If they're well behaved and totally respectful through most of their teen years, then they go bonkers at 17 or 18. In my case it was 15. We moved and she was a nightmare for about a year.
