I have a radiologist who gives commentary

When he gets tired he starts talking about the patients - I knew a girl named such-and-such; who would name their child that?; st*pid guy was drunk and fell, ha ha. It's amusing after a long day. I've also had ones that sing, joke, etc. They're not all boring.

I have had it and work for a radiologist that does it
Hello

I have had my upper lip done. I work for a radiologist part time doing MT and coding. He has an imaging center and also does laser procedures such as hair removal and veins. I highly recommend it. I had my lip done, watched many procedures, and was trained in doing it myself. I used to drive up to the office a few days a week to work there but now do it all at home. For upper lip you will need to go back every four weeks for treatment. It just feels like a rubber band pop on your skin. Believe me I hate pain. The most painful I ever saw was the bikini line. The reason you go back is that it only treats hairs in a certain stage of growth. Each time you go in you will catch the different hairs you did not catch in the right stage last time. I can give you more information if you want to email me. He has a website that can give you more information. If you email me I can give you what I know. Good luck!

In my 16+ years of doing this, only ONE radiologist was ever fun to transcribe for. He'd start off the day with a weather report and details of what it was doing outside his window. If it was a Monday, I'd get a recap of his weekend. On Fridays he always wished a happy weekend. He went on a rant before Christmas, saying he hoped Santa would bring lots of presents, don't forget to leave out cookies and milk with carrots for the reindeer, etc. He is no longer working and I am now stuck with the most boring bunch of docs you can imagine. The fact that they dictate on a system that other docs/hospital personnel can dial into listen to reports on I'm sure is the reason, or are ALL radiologists boring, chew gum and dictate with their head under a pillow?
My goal is to eventually add commentary and humor/satire/etc...sm
I'm not talented in all those areas and hope to attract other MTs who are. There's no money in it at this point, unfortunately.

If only they could ditch Brooke Burke and her insipid canned commentary. And those outfits. nm
