I have 25 years of experience, and that is 25 years of acute care, trauma center, experience.  And I have every right to expect someone "over" me to be better than me/know more than me.  Just try putting an MT with 10 years of experience in a hospital transcription department over MTs who have been MTs for many years - it doesn't work.

FYI, I am VERY experienced and VERY good at what I do.  I have done acute care for many years - as a hospital employee, for various prestigious services, and with my own service.  I simply would not work for a company who tried to put someone with 10 years of experience in a supervisory position over me.

One experience I had along those lines was a supervisor who was always "correcting" MTs but SHE was the one who was wrong.  Nope, not going for that.
