I respect the fact that you have a lot of experience but that does not necessarily mean that you know how to manage a team. Obviously I was qualified or he wouldn't have hired me in the first place. I dont think it is fair to say just because I have less than half the experience of another in a field that I necessarily know less. Some people may do this job on cruise control and not learn anything in the process of typing it and another may absorb the material and understand how to do the job of a supervisor. I know someone who is 25 years old and is the branch manager of a national bank in our hometown. She has far less experience than others in the office but this national bank saw her education (a Master's Degree) and ability and gave her the job. Does that mean she is less deserving?
