 the massage therapy (provided it's a good therapist) is more beneficial.  Bones are basically where the soft tissues holds them.  Let's say you did actually have a bone subluxated a bit.  If the chiropractor puts it back in place, your muscles will likely just pull it back out again.  You have to deal with the muscles (and fascia).
 
 Many issues and surgeries could be avoided if we all had regular massage.
 
 Unfortunately, many insurances do not cover massage (to any beneficial degree) yet.  Most do for chiropractic care now, but they were in the same boat at one time, so things will probably get better regarding massage down the road.
 
 Even if you just buy a trigger point therapy book and work on yourself (or have a family member do it), you can help yourself bunches!
