MT schools it was much easier.

I did some nursing in Australia (didn't complete) but at least gave me some medical terminology.

Then travelled, wound up here with my husband. Took a job at a university medical center as a temp and they asked me to stay on. Worked in their Urology dept. doing their consult letters and from there moved around the university and finally wound up being hired as a trancriptionist for their Hem-Onc Dept.

Took some medical terminology classes there then decided to become an IC. So here I am. Love typing and working with language so seems a good fit.

Definitely not planned although I'm cetainlhy glad it worked out this way.
