I have seen a lot of people say they use their laptops in hotels and in their cars (someone else driving!) and other such places so they can travel, but one would not be sending the files over a secure network then. At home I send from a secure network. Obviously if you are in a hotel of a WiFi hot spot to send files, there is nothing secure about it. This is a violation.
