I have a son who has been critically ill for nearly 4 years. We took him all over the country to get medical care and 9 out of 10 doctors 1) misdiagnosed him, 2) gave him medications he was allergic to, 3) forgot to give him insulin, 4) had never heard of his illness.
When they make mistakes, you can't touch them either. We have talked with administrators, state boards of medicine, you name it and nothing is done. One administrator told us if they did punish the doctor, the records would be sealed and nobody would know.
