best bet. Pay your dues, get some years experience, and learn how to sell your talents. Some have broken free of the MTSO, nationals, etc, and have become true independent IC with their own clients, their own equipment, etc. It can be done, and THAT is where the real money is (as well as owning your own company where you hire transcriptionists).
