No, he isn't trying to pull one on me. He lost an 8-year-old daughter in December and her insurance benefits hit the lifetime max long before her death. He spent every penny and then some for her care. He drives a mid-90's truck and he didn't take a vacation last year. His family didn't even exchange Christmas gifts this year. He is also our family physician and he has never charged us a co-pay and always given us samples when available to help save us a buck. I feel my heart is big enough to return some of his kindness at a time like this, because he has always been loyal to me (even when his accountant tried getting him to go with another service because they were less expensive). Beleive it or not, even physicians can have a catastrophe that wipes them out. Not all of them are out to rip us off.
