and is done everyday by hundreds of work at home mothers. I transcribe at home with my child and yes my reason for choosing this line of work was to stay home with my child. I know of another mother (one of the best in the business) who home-schooled 4 children by working over 15 years as a transcriptionist, so don't let anyone tell you it cannot be done, just some folks can't hack doing 2 things at once so they think noone else can either.
