START button.
Choose CONTROL PANEL.
SYSTEM PROPERTIES tab.
GENERAL tab.
At bottom of the small page, it shows the Processor, and under that mine says 1:50 GHz, 448 MB of RAM.

DH says he knows I have 512 total MB of RAM because that's what was on the box.

My computer is weeks new, and therefore not very bogged down yet.
