Hello there!
About 5 years ago, I was desperate to stay at home with my newborn son as well. I tried to do transcription without any additional schooling and thought being a nurse would be enough. I was very wrong. After a lot of research, I ended up with M-TEC, as they have a program specifically designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals. I am so glad that I did. Even as a grad, I still get support and encouragement when I need it. Also, I get e-mails almost every week with new job openings where companies have posted jobs on the M-Tec web site. Some of these jobs are for their grads only, and they also have a huge list of companies that post on their web site that you cannot see until you are a grad. Please feel free to e-mail me if you would like. I now work as a nurse full time and do MT work on the side. I love it.
