I have never used that platform before, so I do not know if it is the software/platform. I always run scans on my computer. I have heard (and have not verified) that running too many defrags will cause problems. I scan with Trend for viruses and spyware, CCleaner to get rid of all the aquired temporary files and so on that you do not need, and AdWare for spyware. CCleaner and AdWare are both free. I also clean up my hard drive (programs>accessories>system tools>disk cleanup) about once a week. Hope this helps!
