It is a hospital that I work for. We started inhouse, the went to at-home and I've been at home now for about 12 years. They unfortunately are not hiring, in fact, the opposite. They have let 3 people go in the last 6 months. Our ER went to EMR and stopped dictating, so we lost a large amount of our work. We are about a 300-bed hospital and now have 12 MTs to cover it. The work is steady and busy now, but I do wonder at what point other work types will go the way our ERs did.
