XP and Nortons
I have had XP Pro and downloaded both SP2 and SP3. I have NEVER had any problems with either of them. It should be fine to download them. Any problems that were encountered with SP2 have long since been resolved. In fact, it may HELP your computer to have them. Don't be scared. I wouldn't think you would need to go to a "professional" as many of the so-called professionals don't know as much as they think they do, or, like doctors, have differing opinions with every diagnosis. and they too are just out to take your money when it is a simple "operation."
