looking for other peoples scenarios and how they did it...to help support me....to realize that I'm not the only one this has happened to and won't be the last ...and that it can be done...and one can still raise happy, healthy children with a split family...

Someone have some pity on me
I came late to the discussion and missed the recipe. Anyone willing to share. It sounds like a winner and I would love to try it over the weekend. Thanks everyone. Have a great day.
MQ pity parties

Why don't one of you MQ whiners start a blog so the rest of us with the good sense NOT to stay with a crappy company don't have to see your "poor me" posts.  It is not that we read them, it is just a pain to have to navigate around them.  If you don't have the sense God gave a goose and leave a company that treats you so shabbily, then you deserve to be there.  Just don't subject the rest of us to your pity parties.  Someone start a blog, where you can all go and whine to each other, while your kids "starve".  Btw, if your kids were starving, it would be your faults for not getting a job that would buy your groceries and pay your bills.

I don't remember asking for YOUR pity; other than that you are

preaching to somebody else.  And stay out of posts with the letters MQ in them

maybe your life will be the nirvana you are so used to living in.

In the meantime we are trying to deal with the situation we have found ourselves

in.  And if this company is hiring people when there is no work, if they are

misrepresenting themselves, then while we are digging out, we'd like to

discuss it as much as we can here, and hopefully find some help and support

while making the next steps.

You can go on to whatever it is that makes you happy.  Obviously you need to stay out of this.

No pity from me, you are keeping yourself down.
So this company is hiring when there is no work, so they are misrepresenting themselves.  You know that, so get out. How is whining on this board dealing with the situation?  Any new hires will find it out soon enough and hopefully have the sense to leave. All the "discussing" in the world isnt going to pay your bills.  And besides, no one said you couldn't discuss, just go do it on a blog where someone is going to care.  We are getting sick of whiners who refuse to help themselves by taking action.
It's a real pity.....
In my office, I have a 40-inch plasma TV hanging on the wall and a stereo sound system that could just about rival any club's, but when I work, I work in total silence - don't even have the T.V. on because it will prompt me to turn it up.  And forget the music playing softly in the background because that would only prompt me to crank it up to the max and then, of course, I wouldn't get ANY work done!!!  (Ah dew LUV ma' music!!)
Oh for pity's sake
How about Americans get used to the fact that their country is a mixture of different peoples/culture/languages and try just a little harder to understand and be understood?

Or would that interfere too much with the American Arrogance factor? :)
Maybe she will take pity on me and offer help..sm
