It is absolutely not worth the years and years it will take for you to get experienced enough to handle any and all acute care that may come your way...all to make..what 3-5 cpl for voice recognition...maybe 7 cpl for MTing? Simply put, this job takes far to much training which the MTSO do not want to compensate for and those of us who have it..muddle through..but I would never advise anybody new to come into this profession, it is vastly underpaid for the amount of training that is required.
