Have you tried a new foot pedal? I'm sure you don't want to waste time from not being able to work to order one and wait to get it in the mail, and then maybe it won't work. Do you know someone you can borrow one from to try before ordering a new one, or borrow until a new one comes in if that will work?

        Another thing you might try, is reinstalling the driver for your USB port. SM - Tinks

        Check your USB drivers. The printer works off the printer driver. The pedal needs a joystick - Tinks
